Join the MS-ISAC® Leadership Mentoring Program
The ISAC Leadership Mentoring Program (LMP) is now open for registration!
This year’s program offers two participation styles: “1:1 Mentorships” or “Collaborative Mentorships."
The 1:1 style pairs Mentors and Mentees directly, where they communicate together over the nine-month program. The Collaborative style are groups of Participants supported by former Mentors, now called “Facilitators”. The goal is for these Participant-led groups to develop organically as topics arise, with light input from the Facilitators. Both styles will allow ample opportunity to build relationships and leadership competencies.
Program Specifics
- Open to all MS-ISAC and EI-ISAC members
- Program launches in April 2025 and runs through December 2025 (nine-month program)
- Minimum commitment: One hour per month, plus Kick-off and 3-Month Check-in Meetings
- Program facilitation and guidance provided by the MS-ISAC and Program Co-Chairs
Mentor / Facilitator Criteria
- Established decision-makers in their organization
- Experienced communicators who can impart knowledge and guidance on various leadership competencies, including (but not limited to): management and leadership, governance, C-suite communications, career development, security operations, etc.
- Establish and facilitate a meeting space and cadence for their mentee or collaborative group
- Update the Co-Chair team on needs and issues
Mentee / Participant Criteria
- New or less experienced decision-makers in an organization
- Inexperienced communicators looking to develop key areas of cybersecurity leadership, including (but not limited to): management and leadership, C-suite communications, career development, governance, security operations, etc.
- Identify goals, areas of focus, and drive discussions
- Update the Co-Chair team on needs and issues
