MS-ISAC® Leadership Mentoring Program – 2026 Kickoff

The MS‑ISAC Leadership Mentoring Program (LMP) helps strengthen cybersecurity leadership across State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) organizations through member‑to‑member learning and support. This member‑led program connects experienced leaders with emerging ones to build skills, confidence, and community.

How You Can Participate

Choose the style that fits your leadership journey: 

• 1:1 Mentorships
  One‑on‑one relationships between Mentors and Mentees for personalized guidance.
   
• Collaborative Mentorships
  Participant‑led groups supported by experienced Facilitators (former Mentors). Groups develop organically around emerging topics, with light input from Facilitators. Both styles foster strong relationships and leadership growth.

Program Specifics

• Exclusive to Paid MS‑ISAC and EI‑ISAC Members
• Launches April 2026 and runs through December 2026 (nine months)
• Minimum commitment: 1 hour per month, plus Kick‑off and 3‑Month Check‑ins 
• Program guidance provided by MS‑ISAC and Member Co‑Chairs

Mentor / Facilitator Criteria

• Established decision‑makers in their organization
• Experienced communicators who can share leadership competencies (e.g., governance, C‑suite communications, career development, security operations)
• Ability to set meeting cadence and facilitate discussions for mentee or collaborative group

Mentee / Participant Criteria

• New or less experienced decision‑makers
• Looking to develop leadership skills (e.g., management, governance, career development, security operations)
• Identify goals, areas of focus, and drive discussions
